華美協進社簡介
華美協進社成立于1926年，是一無黨派、非盈利的文化教育組織。它是第一個以美國社會為對象，通過傳播中華文明和現代文化，成為美國社會了解中國的窗口。
華美協進社一直是東西方文化交流的一座橋梁。從早年引薦京劇大師梅蘭芳首次來美國演出，使得西方世界對中國文化精粹嘆為觀止；到接引早期中國留學生、學者來美國學習西方文化，成為海外游子的聚會所。多年來，華美協進社通過設立課堂教育、舉辦藝術展覽及各項文化講座，不僅為西方人學習中國語言、文化、藝術，提供了一個重要的公共空間；同時也在不同的歷史時期，為西方人乃至海外華人，敞開了一扇透視中國社會狀況的窗口。
華美協進社從最早在美國開向中國的一扇窗口，到已經成為緊密連接中西方文化的一架橋梁，它無疑將使越來越多的西方人從這里看到中國，并日益加深對中國的了解！
